The usefulness of an email signature in a business setting

It is normal to end an email with a signature. Depending on the degree of formality of the mail and the confidence we have with our receiver, the signature may simply be our name or our name and surname.
When we are part of a company or our own business and we want to convey a strong and trustworthy message to another company or client we can opt for a digital signature accompanied by a few lines of relevant text describing our position in the company, contact information, logo of the company or even the department that we belong to, this can be very useful for the companies because it conveys an image of professionalism.
We can also use electronic signature as a marketing tool by simply adding information about upcoming events or new products as well as getting the message to everyone who receives emails from our company, otherwise we can reduce issues of confidentiality, privacy and legal notices of emails by adding the company’s privacy policies to the digital signature.
