E-mail can be used in the workspace because it is an inexpensive way of communicating and sending files instantly, some companies use it to do marketing by sending emails with promotions, product catalogues or services to save on paper, impressions and expenses of shipping. It can also be a beneficiary in those companies that have a contact form on the web, because this web sends a direct email to the inbox, this offers a great ease of responding to the customers’ preferences.

What makes an e-mail message successful?

Spelling and Grammar:
It is fundamental that when sending an email a spell check is used to avoid possible misspellings as it is a great lack of professionalism.

Clarity:
You should write an email without sarcasms or acronyms, abbreviations are also poorly seen and must be avoided as they give poor image and low professionalism.

Readability:
Use an appropriate font in Sans Serif emails like Arial or Calibri because these font types have no decorations and promote legibility and seriousness. The electronic corrector must be structured and use punctuation marks and spaces between paragraphs.

Sensitivity:
If possible, respond to emails as quickly as possible within a 24-hour period as the recipient of the email may be waiting for a response.
