Email client-side filters and SMTP authentication

SMTP authentication is configured in order to raise the levels of security e-mail service and in order to minimize the possibility that your account is used without authorization from your computer or from others, it will also reduce the possibility that your computer will be used as bridge for the sending of massive emails through other servers.

To prevent our email client from being flooded with emails one of the best options is to add a filter to the inbox of our email service these filters delete messages or divert them to other folders. Spam filters can be configured to search for keywords in the content of an email so they can be deleted, you can also filter emails by a given email or use third-party spam filters to help control the problem such as Apache Spam Assasin, MailScanner the DSpam. These filters have the ability to store the emails in your own database to be able to scan them and know if they are legitimate emails.
