Search sites and Information portals
A search site is a web page that only searches for information for internet users. Normally these websites contain a search engine that does the job of showing the user the most relevant results. Normally the search sites are the internet doors since it is the first site we visited.
Search engines like Google, Bing or Yahoo! They have the ability to classify websites through an algorithm so that they can then show the results to an end user. These web page indexing algorithms have become much more complex than the first algorithm invented by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. These indexing systems visit all the websites and store relevant information, their URL and create an index, once this information has been stored the web crawler will continue looking for the links that contain the same web and will perform the same task of storing and indexing all the content, will repeat the process until a large index of web pages is created as it progresses. This is a very tedious process and it is not possible to know when the search engine indexes our web page, that is why some web developers to increase their visits tend to send their websites to companies that contain these search engines.
There is a difference between the search pages and the information portals, they publish information from other websites and it is the administrators who decide what type of information will be published and decide what type of web will be indexed in the portal. These information portals tend to index the information of other web pages through the use of RSS, some also receive emails from other web pages for the information to be published previously made a review of this information.
Users use the information portals to have first-hand information about national or international events. The information portals make an analysis of the keywords of one of the web page visited by the user in order to create very similar suggestions using the keyword.

A web page is an electronic document that contains sentences written in HTML that are interpreted by the web browser to shape the requested information. These files are stored on a web server on the World Wide Web. There are different types of web browsers to view web pages, one of the most popular among Internet users are Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. It must be clarified that a website is different from a web page, websites are usually a collection of web pages and each web page has its own address.
